Here is a collection of sites I thought deserved special mention, if you like the sound of them give them a quick look, you may like them
SmileyVault.com - Smiley Vault.

This is a great site with lots of potential, the basic concept allows members to create their own smiley galleries that others can then browse, use and enjoy!
The site is searchable which means if you add a title and some descriptive text to the smileys you add, others will be able to find them and comment on them and there's enough space given to all that allows for some pretty big personal collections!

There's already a good few thousand smileys on the site to get people started, either add your fave smileys from around the web or browse the Smiley Vault collection for smileys you really love and create your own albums (galleries) with them.
It's a grand idea, as visitors are not limited to what smileys any site has to offer and they aren't forced into browsing through hundreds or thousands of smileys each time they want the smileys they use most.

What's more, the site allows hotlinking! This means you can use the smiley collections you build and put them on your favourite forum, blog, website, myspace etc etc, codes are supplied for each smiley, all you need do is copy paste them and insert into favourite site!
FriendsCircle.co.uk - FC Smileys

The smileys in the FC (FriendsCircle.co.uk) galleries are used on a great forum based in the UK that reaches out to the whole world via the web. It's called
FriendsCircle.co.uk
and was set up by a pretty young woman called Elaine, who was an admin at FriendshipForum.co.uk

The owner however, after running Friendship Forum for several years got tired of it and suddenly closed the place down with no warning, I guess we all have our limits and running a busy forum like FriendshipForum.co.uk was bound to take its toll.

The members were thrown into shock and disarray at the time but led by Hippy, a temporary forum was setup until after a day they setup a more permanent home at
Friends Circle.

From there they contacted old members from Friendship Forum via email, Facebook, Myspace, instant messenger and anyway they had contact with each other and rallied round to bring the troops to their new home.

They have settled into their new home now, members can arrange swaps, play arcade games, chat about anything covering a very wide array of discussions and lots more.

The staff are friendly and keen to make new friends as are the members that make FC, it's a pretty busy place with a friendly atmosphere which is really hard to acheive but everyone chips in their bit to help the community grow and so it has!

You are more than welcome to join this bustling friendly community, pop along and tell them I sent ya, they'll be really gald you joined and if you're shy don't worry they're all big softies with big hearts! So if you're looking to make friends and get involved with a friendly and busy growing community check them out at:
Mouth Watering Recipes from Terry's Kitchen!
Got a great site to show you here, a friend of mine is a really good cook, she knows more recipes off by heart than I know products you can shove in the microwave

you can find her site at
TerrysKitchen.com.
Terry is still building the site but there's already tons of recipes available for you to peruse on her site, like, Chinese cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, Thai cuisine, Indian cuisine and Vietnamese cuisine too, as well as different types of dishes, such as starters or main dishes. Soon she will have How-To's and tips for budding cooks as well, she updates fairly frequently too so if you are used to RSS feeds and have a good RSS reader you already prefer using I recommend you subscribe to find out as soon as she updates but am betting what she has on there will keep many people busy and well fed for a good while to come
